Why is the support group so important?

The LSW Prostate Cancer Support Group exists to provide emotional support for prostate cancer survivors and their partners or caregivers, during all stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Having prostate cancer can feel isolating and frightening. From our own experience, we know the support of those who have been through it previously can help people alleviate the stress and burden of living with prostate cancer.

Our support doesn’t stop when you get the all-clear – we are also open to anyone navigating life after prostate cancer treatment.

Group members are expected to respect the privacy of others at all times.
